888 - The Murder Signature is an explosive and revealing look into the free life to prison cycle from the first person protagonist Andrew, prosed by the collection of interviews by the author Claire Gains.
Claire will tell you as the first encounter with Andrew was a 'stumbled upon storytelling' and first meet at a cafe half way around the world (in southern UK Devon county). Andrew's telling of such a tale made Claire so curious about Andrew, she asked if he had any other "Unimaginable" stories to tell, and well....he did!
Her second novel, "The Unimaginable Life of Andrew," is the follow-up novel work currently in post editing; consisting of mind blowing and life altering stories of family, friends, choice encounters, close encounters, surprise situations, and well, a collection of unimaginable stories of one mans journey from birth.

Excerpts
888- The Murder Signature
A father apart...
Andrew had already spent over 9 months defending himself in this concrete jungle, and was going to do whatever it took to make it home to his children, “or die trying, God as my witness” he said with such traumatic emotion.
Sweating and disoriented, Andrew backed up just in time as the guard wrenched his arms back to make it easier for him to un cuff. The front of Andrews' head hit the metal door as the guard simply laughed and said, 'must be that hair, don't worry, we'll send the kid to cut yours." He laughed again as Andrew looked over at the worst buzz cuts being given by a hands and knee shaking baser who looked 1 week into withdrawls. As the cuffs released, he jabbed once again, right in the same spot as before to move his hands from the opening, slamming the tray door and locking it in one motion.
"Man, getting jabbed in the same spot seemed ten times worse that the first blow," Andrew thought. Disoriented, he heard a tap on the small chicken wire window, enough to see a small portion of the long hallway, three cells across, and three up top the metal stairs. "Why are they doing this to me? Oh shit, the guard. Pay attention, you can’t take another jab or worse” Andrew heard himself say to himself. Don't let them break you.
A Mistaken Identity
“Have fun with your Northie Jew friend,” he exclaimed as the guard pushed him through the door in cuffs. Andrew had almost tripped and fallen flat on his face, his mind racing as he tried to recall the last 15 minutes. The pain in his shoulder was making it hard to comprehend his current surroundings and what had just transpired.
“Turn around, hands in the block.” He shouted.
Andrew almost didn’t audibly understand what the guard was asking until he felt the guard jab him in the small of his back through a meal tray latch. Andrew held back tears. It reminded Andrew of the first fall on a skateboard trying to glide a railing, breathtaking. Andrew realized the guard wasn’t going to wait much longer before it got out of hand. He stepped back, shoulder writhing in pain from being cuffed; an unhealthy reminder of the last beating Andrew had taken from police officers outside the gas station mere months ago. "If you ever played the video game Techmo bowl, just think of a fumble. If you ever thought it was only blacks who were beaten by police, you stand corrected," Andrew said and a pause. I could only think he must have been reliving that moment, in real time.
Court, for Prison?
“I have to be dragged to court, for what?” Andrew had already seen many guys who were called back into court thinking the were going to get released or their cases overturned, but the vast majority came back facing more charges.
They would start stressing and pacing around the bloc, not eat, be so filled with worry and uncertainty; mentally draining raw emotion, savage. The court only brings you in to give you more time, or bad news…never the light at the end of a tunnel or ‘get out of jail free’ card.
Everyone is born with a social security number of country of ownership, a D.O.C. Number in case they have to lock you away…all within a false sense of freedom within red, white and blue lies.
